Class Overview
The goal of the computer classes is for students to use higher order thinking skills
to complete real world work projects. Students have the opportunity to use their
creative problem solving, teamwork and technology skills to complete activities that
prepare them for learning and working in the 21st century.
Every effort is aimed to help the students to become independent,
self-directed learners while showing respect for their individual
interests and abilities.
Student grades can be found on-line. It is the student’s responsibility to manage their class
project so that they complete it on time. Work should be handed in, in
grade level electronic portfolios.
Content Standards:
The course correlates to New Jersey Core Content Standards.
Computer related projects follow standards addressed by NJ Standard 8.1
